The first contest that counts towards the season is the Třebíč Smoking Contest (Třebíčské kouření), and the season ends with the last contest before the next Třebíč Smoking Contest

All contestants receive 5 points for taking part
The top half of the field also receives placement points. With an odd number of participants, the number of points awarded equals half the number of participants rounded up to the nearest whole number.
Placement points correspond to the finishing position within the top half of the field, in reverse order.
The top five finishers receive extra bonus points: 5 points for first place, then 4, 3, 2 and 1 point respectively.
At the end of the season, the best individual and the best team are announced. A team’s score is the simple sum of the points earned by the three best contestants from the club.
Example of scoring in a contest with 60 contestants:
1st place: 5 (participation) + 30 (1st place) + 5 (bonus) = 40
2nd place: 5 (participation) + 29 (2nd place) + 4 (bonus) = 38
3rd place: 5 (participation) + 28 (3rd place) + 3 (bonus) = 36
4th place: 5 (participation) + 27 (4th place) + 2 (bonus) = 34
5th place: 5 (participation) + 26 (5th place) + 1 (bonus) = 32
6th place: 5 (participation) + 25 (6th place) + 0 (bonus) = 30
etc.
30th place: 5 (participation) + 1 (30th place) + 0 (bonus) = 6
31st place: 5 (participation) + 0 (31st place) + 0 (bonus) = 5
etc.
Because at the end of Season V there was a real possibility that two contestants at the top of the table would finish on equal points, the ADKČR board decided to amend the rules as follows, with effect from Season VI, which began with the Třebíč Smoking Contest on 9 November 2024.
If contestants are tied on points, the higher place goes to the contestant who reached that total with fewer contest appearances. If they are tied on both points and appearances, the higher place goes to the contestant with the longer total smoking time across all contests.
